The Louder, The Better!!! “Breast cancer affects 1 in 7 Australian women and 1 in 700 men.” Our family & friends have not been spared from Breast Cancer, so this is a topic close to our hearts…we will proudly be wearing Pink this October… Breast Cancer Awareness Month aims to raise awareness as to why early detection is vital. “Early detection saves lives, and the best method of early detection is screening mammograms.” Be open in discussions...we can be courageous together... “Talking about mammograms and self-checks out loud gives someone else the courage to book that appointment.” Breast Screen WA provides FREE screening mammograms to women in WA, 40 years or over with no breast symptoms every 2 years.
